The book depicts a picture of the present day politician, Pandit Gangasagar Mishra, who will do anything to achieve power. Pandit, who's inspired by Chanakya's chant, achieves power following his footsteps.

Chanakya was one of the wittiest person's known ever. History knows him as the brilliant strategist. He sacrificed everything, even his love to achieve the target for uniting India under one emperor. The same was done by Pandit in this fascinating and remarkable novel.
